What To Wear: Pumpkin Patch Outfit Ideas

Fall is pretty much in full swing everywhere – Halloween decorations are all up and fall wreaths and colors are all gracing my neighbors’ porch and front decor aesthetic. I especially love it when things look a little extra “fall-y” around here because with temps that aren’t really dropping thatttt much here in Los Angeles, it’s kinda hard to tell that’s a completely new season.

Driving anywhere around the greater LA area or even the suburbs, pumpkin patch areas have been springing up everywhere. Friends and family are posting cute pumpkin patch pictures around this time of the year, and UGH the pics are so cute!

This got me thinking about my upcoming pumpkin patch trip and what outfit I’d wear for cute pumpkin patch pictures.

Orange most definitely is not my color, but I do really like darker hues like burgundy or even burnt orange. You also can’t go wrong with neutrals; this aesthetic looks very effortlessly chic especially during fall since some browns would have a slight orange undertone to them, and the colors really complement the fall palette and foliage.

Statement coats are also a really great way to set the tone of your aesthetic. And sometimes, the coat IS the look! Pair that with a yummy pair of thigh high boots and you’ve got an outfit.

The best part about pumpkin patch outfits is that both the shabby chic look and more dressed up aesthetic look great – it really is up to you! Dress up or down to your liking – and most importantly… (as I’ve come to learn) wear what you want!
