The ULTIMATE List of Fun Summer Activities To Do At Home
Ah, summer… 🤩
What to do this summer…
It’s been a pretty dreary winter here (even for California standards), and I am SO ready to soak up the sun and cut myself some slack after a very trying past few months in my life. 🥲
At the beginning of the year, I made a New Year’s resolution to myself that I would really make the intentional and thoughtful effort to slow down and really enjoy life – even the littlest moments.
And summer is just THE season to do just that!

When I think of summer, I think of vivid colors, sun in my face, warmth in my heart, and just generally feeling lighter and happier on my feet. There’s just SO MUCH to do in the summer warmth – especially if you’re in warm weather territory like I am!
And hey, sometimes even the greatest summer adventures start in your very own backyard! Summer fun is all about what you make of it anyway!
I have very fond memories of hanging out with my friends and family at home, and just enjoying each other’s company, playing silly games all weekend long during the summer. With fresh-cut watermelon slices and ice-cold lemonade drinks…
UGH take me back! ☀️
Whether you’re looking for family-friendly fun, outdoor adventures in the backyard, or relaxing ways to enjoy the season, I’ve rounded up some of my personal fave fun summer activities that I’ll be indulging in myself too!
