I don’t know about you but dressing for winter and spring in Los Angeles for the past few months has been so BLAH. The weather has been dreary and gray and all around wetter than usual. But recently, the weather has been warming up over here and I’ve been getting more and more excited to forgo my usual sweatpants and baggy shirt in favor of pretty summer dresses, crisp linen tops, and shorts!

My go-to summer outfit really depends on my mood for the day – am I feeling dressy? casual? or something in between? The easiest pick is a nice flowy dress – if I’m ever short on time, then this option never fails me. It’s also the quickest way to look put together without that much more effort. But there are days when I’m out and about and cute top and shorts are the way to go!

I also like to spend more time picking my accessories to match my summer outfits. For me, summer outfits mean lighter shades and more cute colors, so the endless options means more time spent putting together my summer outfit for the day. I don’t mind this if I’m not in a rush because half the fun of dressing up is picking the outfits anyway! 😊
